The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), founded in 1988, has produced graduates
who work across East Africa and beyond. The alumni dinner tradition started to
strengthen connections among alumni and support their role in promoting
educational and community initiatives that match the university’s mission. The
event also shows IUIU’s dedication to building lasting relationships with its
graduates. It creates chances for mentorship and collaboration. This increases
awareness of alumni contributions and helps gather resources for educational
growth in Uganda’s Muslim and broader academic communities.
Dinner Objective
The main objective of the IUIU Alumni Dinner 2026 was to strengthen alumni
engagement, foster networking and collaboration among graduates, celebrate
